Hello! My name is Ariana Michel. I am a mother of two little people, 5 and 6, who are the light of my life. On my time off I enjoy any DIY project I can get my hands on especially woodwork. Its safe to say that I am a hands-on learner.
I am proud to say that I have been working for San Diego Unified for 10 years and I have loved every second of it. The last 5 years I was fortunate enough to work at a Moderate/Severe separate school setting where I learned the value of compassion, patience, love, perseverance, and trust. I am so excited to be at New Dawn this year teaching Biology, Physics and Earth Science! I am a passionate advocate of the special education community and because of this my primary focus is always encouraging my students to self-advocate and persevere.
